Nominations now open for BenefAction Board of Directors!
The Board of Directors of BenefAction Foundation is currently seeking applications for two (2) new board members.
BenefAction is a public foundation registered with the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). BenefAction is authorized to receive philanthropic donations, issue official donation receipts and make grants to registered charities and other qualified donees through the donor-advised funds and endowment funds it administers. Charitable Registration No. 80421 3759 RR0001.
BenefAction’s mandate is to help affluent Canadians and their Advisors harness the advantages of strategic giving. Over 90% of the foundation’s revenue is a direct result of a wealth management or estate-planning professional’s influence; so we recognize the importance of creating and maintaining ongoing relationships with professional advisors. And, we strive to maintain its reputation as a valuable resource for investment, legal and tax professionals who want to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the role of charitable planning in their client’s financial and estate plan.
The Board provides guidance and direction for the foundation’s management and directs the activities of the CEO. BenefAction has a number of Committees with volunteer Chairs.
Deadline to submit applications is October 30th, 2015.
